Water Tiger

A Tiger is built for charge and confrontation, the zodiac's image of raw courage and sudden movement. Fire makes that explosive, Wood makes it expansive, Metal makes it ruthless. Water does something almost paradoxical: it keeps the Tiger's boldness but gives it patience and direction, the way a river can carve a canyon precisely because it does not try to do it all at once. Those born in 1962 grew up through the long social upheavals of the later twentieth century and reached adulthood in a world reorganizing fast, an environment that rewarded exactly the Tiger's appetite for bold moves. The 2022 cohort are still small children, born into an era of climate anxiety and rapid technological change, and tradition declines to forecast lives that have barely begun.
